Privacy Policy
Last updated: 6 September 2026
This notice explains how Horváth Péter EV (Linecraft) processes personal data when you use linecraft.io, contact us, create an account, or order software work. It replaces earlier wording about a course waitlist.
1. Controller
Horváth Péter EV (Linecraft)
6771 Szeged, Szerb utca 84/B, Hungary
Tax number: 68834461-1-26
EU VAT: HU68834461
Email: info@linecraft.io
We have not appointed a data protection officer because we are not required to do so.
2. Data we process
Depending on how you use the site, we may process:
- Account data: name, email, authentication identifiers, passkeys, and Google or Apple account identifiers if you choose those sign-in methods.
- Contact form data: message, email and/or phone number, optional context about where you wrote from, and a short-lived IP address used only to limit abuse.
- Order and intake data: billing name and address, invoice recipient, contacts, phone, communication preferences, goal summary, and answers you give for each task (these may include repository URLs or access notes you choose to send).
- Payment data: Stripe customer and session identifiers, payment status, and invoice metadata. Full card numbers are processed by Stripe, not stored by us.
- Technical data: IP address, user agent, locale, and basic site usage needed to run and secure the service.
We do not currently run a public waitlist. If you joined an older waitlist, we may still hold that email until you ask us to delete it or the purpose ends.
3. Purposes and legal bases
We process personal data only as needed for:
- Taking steps before a contract and performing a contract (account, intake, delivery, billing, support) — GDPR Article 6(1)(b).
- Legal obligations such as invoicing and accounting — Article 6(1)(c).
- Legitimate interests in securing the site, preventing spam on the contact form, and understanding aggregate site use with cookieless analytics — Article 6(1)(f). You may object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Consent, only if we later send optional marketing and you have opted in — Article 6(1)(a). We do not currently run a marketing list from this site.
We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
4. Recipients
We share data only with providers that help us run the service:
- Neon (database hosting).
- Resend (transactional email, including magic links).
- Stripe (payments and invoices).
- Telegram (delivery of contact-form messages to our team).
- Vercel (website hosting and privacy-oriented web analytics).
- Google or Apple, only if you sign in with those services.
These parties act as processors or independent controllers under their own terms where they provide the account or payment rail you chose. We do not treat our authentication library as a separate vendor: account records are stored in our database.
5. International transfers
Some providers are in, or may access data from, countries outside the European Economic Area (for example the United States). Where that happens we rely on an adequacy decision or Standard Contractual Clauses and any supplementary measures the provider documents.
Contact messages sent through Telegram leave our servers and are processed under Telegram’s terms.
6. Retention
We keep data only as long as needed for the purpose or as required by law:
- Account data: until you delete the account, then for a short technical wind-down.
- Contract, invoice, and tax records: generally 8 years under Hungarian accounting rules.
- Contact messages: for handling the enquiry and a reasonable follow-up period, then deletion or anonymisation. Copies on Telegram follow Telegram retention on our team devices/chats.
- Abuse-prevention IP timestamps: in memory for about 15 minutes.
- Sessions and authentication cookies: for the life of the session or as set by the authentication cookie.
When you delete your account we remove or anonymise data that is not needed for invoices, legal claims, or security logs.
7. Cookies and similar storage
We use strictly necessary cookies for sign-in and language, and browser local storage for theme, cart, and a one-time notice. Vercel Analytics is configured without advertising cookies. Details are in the Cookie Policy at /cookies.
8. Your rights
If GDPR applies to you, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and data portability, and you may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. The withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing.
Write to info@linecraft.io. We may need to verify that the request comes from you. We do not charge a fee unless a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.
9. Complaints
You may lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH), 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9-11, Hungary, https://www.naih.hu, ugyfelszolgalat@naih.hu. You may also contact the supervisory authority in your EU/EEA country of residence.
10. Children
The site is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us data, contact info@linecraft.io and we will delete it.
11. Changes
We may update this notice when our processing or the law changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
